Description
The RCM101D DVI KVM over IP Switch supports Panel Array for monitoring all machines with multiple RCM products, and offers advanced and exclusive RCM and OCR API (DDL) interfaces with various function integrated for easy management. Furthermore, with the optional 2XRT-0015G KVM over IP Access Control Box, the RCM101D allows users to enable or disable remote control privilege.
The RCM101D is a cost efficient over-IP device, which allows remote access of digital video, audio and virtual media via remote control of a PC or workstation. It enables Over IP capability by connecting compatible ATEN DVI KVM switch and/or LCD console, such as the CS1768 (8-Port USB DVI/Audio KVM Switch) or CL6700 (DVI LCD Console).
For user-friendly operation, a mini USB port on the rear panel is designed as a Laptop USB Console (LUC) port which also can function as a Virtual Media port. Users just simply connect a laptop to the LUC port, and can access any computer connected to the switch for easy on-site management. That means no additional monitor, keyboard and mouse is strongly required locally for routine maintenance. Besides, the RCM101D’s Virtual Media function allows a user to perform diagnostic testing, file transfers, or apply OS/applications updates and patches from a remote console.
To ensure seamless connectivity, the RCM101D is equipped with dual LAN and dual power functionality to keep operation in the server room smooth and efficient. The RCM101D also supports speaker and microphone for local and remote use.
